This course lays the foundation for study at an advanced level of
Business Studies, Economics and Accounting. The academic and the practical are combined, developing in students the skills discovery, selection, analysis and evaluation. Numeracy, literacy and communication skills, including I.C.T., are integral to the subject.

G.C.S.E. Business and Communication Systems
This course is designed to enable students to develop skills in communication and I.C.T. It provides the opportunity to cover the Key Stage 4 programme of study in I.C.T. Students will also develop an understanding of how business and communications systems support the requirements of the workplace, which will be of benefit in a wide range of employment and in the study of the subject of an advanced level.
