St Benedict’s into Ulster Semi Final

Played in extreme winds and driving rain , our Year 12 footballers would not be denied , in their quest to reach the Ulster Colleges semifinal . Through sheer guts and determination our boys reached half time with a 4 point lead , thanks in particular to the endeavours of Conor O Kane , Caolan O Loan and Connor Hastings. The second half saw us defending a lead against a strong wind but a herculien effort and courageous workrate saw the boys come back from a 2 point deficit to claim victory, when Shane Hinfey played in Casper Logan for the winning goal in the dying seconds.
