WELCOME TO

St Benedict's College, Randalstown

A visit to Ballycraigy Primary School

We were honoured to be kindly invited to Ballycraigy Primary School to view the amazing work their eco-club have done and continue to do. They showcased their fabulous outdoor vegetable garden, wildlife area and woodland area with a bug hotel and fire feeding stations to enhance local biodiversity.

This event was also attended by Education Minister, Michelle McIllveen and Environment Minister, Edwin Poots whom Miss Hutchinson and our school Eco-club members, Matthew, Joseph, Emily and Shea, were delighted to meet.

Our students left feeling inspired and hope that they can further enhance our school grounds and make St Benedict’s become a more sustainable place. They remain committed to ensuring the young people in our school make the right choices and take appropriate action to reduce the environmental changes of climate change, biodiversity and pollution.

Thank you Ballycraigy Primary School for the lovely afternoon out and for making us feel so welcome in your school. Your hard work and dedication has truly paid off!
